Classified Federation CAMEO Award


The CAMEO (Classified Advertising Managers Executive Order) Award was established to recognize an active classified advertising professional whose efforts on a local, regional, national or international level have positively impacted the newspaper classified industry. This award is presented annually to an individual for significant and sustained excellence in serving the newspaper industry both inside and outside his/her own organization in the field of classified advertising. The recipient must:
  • Create and implement innovative programs and strategies for growing classified advertising revenue in newspapers;
  • Demonstrate classified advertising growth in quantifiable terms;
  • Continually looks for new opportunities to grow the business; and
  • Takes leadership roles within the industry.

Nominations for this award are solicited from the general Classified Federation membership and forwarded to the Award Committee, who identify the finalists and vote a winner.
