Classified Federation Eric Anderson Lifetime Achievement Award (Retired) The Eric Anderson Lifetime Achievement Award (formerly the Lifetime Achievement Award) has been retired. The award recognized a retired Classified executive who spent a substantial portion of his/her career devoted to efforts which benefited classified advertising on the local, regional or national levels. Nominees are selected on the basis of: - Their involvement with, and leadership of, their classified associations;
- Their regular attendance at meetings and conferences; and
- The quality of their work in promoting the readership and marketing use of newspaper classified advertising.
The award is named for the late Eric Anderson, former senior vice president of the Newspaper Advertising Bureau, one of the seven newspaper industry organizations that merged to form NAA in 1992. It honors individuals for outstanding careers in classified advertising. In addition to an award, the recipient will receive, at no cost and for the rest of his or her life, all the benefits of Classified Federation membership and registration for all activities at the annual Marketing Conference (including Classified).
