Display Federation Advertising Person of the Year Award


This award is given annually to an advertising person who has fostered the ideals of partnership and cooperation in working with the newspaper industry. The recipient must be from a newspaper advertising customer who has been open, honest and willing to work with the newspaper industry toward a common goal of successful partnership over time. The recipient may come from a newspaper advertiser or advertising agency, and have met the following criteria:

  • Been a major investor in the newspaper advertising medium;
  • Demonstrated a consistent effort to build marketing solutions;
  • Continually established an open mind and willingness to engage;
  • Represents a proven track record of contribution and results; and
  • Has a reputation of a person who is admired and respected by peers.

The recipient is selected through a nominating process solicited from the general Display Federation membership and forwarded to the Awards Committee, who identifies.
