Newspaper Membership Benefits

"At the 2004 NAA Marketing Conference, I had an opportunity to experience a session on event marketing. It absolutely changed the way I approached our event marketing in El Paso, Texas. I began using a new mantra of 'the further we get away from the customer, the more you forget what they look like. GET IN THE TRENCHES.' It worked. Our event and community tie-in participation increased two-fold in the first year. In the second year, events that we hosted showed an improved profit—as much as a 15% increase! One session, a simple short hour – helped get my department and our newspaper event efforts back on track."

- Robin Montoya, Group Market Development Director
TNP, Media News Group
