Newspaper Membership: Request for Dues Estimate
Per standards set by the NAA Board of Directors, member newspapers are published at least one time per week and carry a minimum of 70 percent paid circulation. NAA fosters strength and unity in the industry through the “Group Membership” provision, stating that two or more qualifying newspapers under common ownership are required to join as a group. NAA operates on a calendar year and membership dues cover 12 months beginning the first month after receipt. The current year’s dues are prorated to align to a calendar year, and the balance of the 12 months payment is carried over to the following year. Newspaper membership dues are based on daily circulation and may be verified by a third party source.
Only independent newspapers and parent companies of two or more subsidiary papers may request a dues estimate. In order to process this request, all information must be provided. Our current response time is 2 weeks; however, we will attempt to respond as quickly as possible. Your dues estimate will be provided by phone or e-mail.
