Football Contest Drives Foot Traffic



One convenience store chain that believes in newspaper partnerships is 7-Eleven. The retailer recognizes the benefits of working with newspapers based on the sheer amount of nominations for the Tony Mineart Merchandiser of the Year Awards for 2008. A recent partnership between 7-Eleven and the Baltimore Sun featured a contest in which two Baltimore Sun readers won two tickets to the December 16th Baltimore Ravens game against the Miami Dolphins in Miami including airfare, hotel accommodations and dinner.
