Zooming In on Online Video


In April 2009, Internet users viewed 16.8 billion videos, a 52 percent increase over April 2008, according to comScore.

The Kelsey Group predicts online video advertising will be a $1.5 billion industry by the end of 2012.

While still a relatively small percentage of total and local online advertising, online video represents an enormous opportunity for newspapers to grow digital media revenue and audience.
