46" Page Layout Guidelines


The 46" Web is the newest change for newspapers. NAA's 46" Advertising Guidelines show standard advertising sizes for newspapers producing a 11.5" broadsheet page. The 46" Web refers to the width of the newsprint web running through a double-wide press, which fits 4 11.5" broad-sheet pages across.

  • Total Page Size: 11.5" x 21+"
  • Live Image Area: 748 pt x 20.5"
  • Number of Ad Columns: 6
  • Outside Margins: 40 pt 
  • Column Gutters: 8 pt
