NAA’s Hazardous Waste Safety Training for Newspaper Employees Training Kit is your employees’ primary training resource in helping them become knowledgeable about the hazardous waste requirements of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the relevant requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). The Kit also contains background information about hazardous waste regulations as they apply to newspapers. As appropriate, throughout the Kit, NAA provides regulatory references (e.g., 40 CFR 262.5); in case students want to read the standards for themselves.
