An NAA Resource for Circulation Performance Standards and Industry Trends

2012 NAA Circulation Survey: Details and support for participants

The NAA audience and business development departments have launched the 2012 NAA Circulation Survey, a comprehensive survey we conduct periodically as the basis for the popular Circulation Facts, Figures & Logic publication.

A PDF version of the questionnaire, as well as a link to the online version, was e-mailed to newspapers in the first week of December 2011.

Completed surveys will be entered to win an Apple iPad 2 or an Apple gift certificate.

Simply submit your completed 2012 NAA Circulation Survey before the February 15 deadline. All entries received before the deadline will be eligible for the drawing.

This year it is easier than ever for you to participate, with a wider range of options for completing and returning the survey: Newspapers can complete the downloadable questionnaire and return it by mail, fax or e-mail, or choose to complete and return the questionnaire online. It is still a detailed survey, but you can select the method that works best for you.

Once again Clark, Martire & Bartolomeo Inc. is assisting NAA in conducting the study and is available as a resource to you. CMB, a research partner of NAA, has decades of experience working with newspapers.

Whether you choose to participate electronically or use the traditional paper-and-pencil method, please understand that we appreciate your support of this critical industry-wide initiative. This essential research is only as good as the level of participation we receive from newspapers, and strong participation in past years is what has made this study so valuable.

So, please invest the time to complete the questionnaire.  If you have not received the e-mailed questionnaire, all of the links and details are included below.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to sending you the final report, 2012 Circulation Facts, Figures & Logic,  as soon as the study is complete.
