In celebration of International Literacy Day Sept. 8, The Newspaper Association of America Foundation is pleased to present the 17^th Annual Literacy Tabloid, titled Newspapers Bring the World to Your Doorstep. The 2005 “Lit Tab” comes in a wonderful 16-page section. You can run all 16 pages or mix and match to whatever suits your needs best. Adding local copy is always encouraged.

Again sponsored by Verizon, the Lit Tab is chock full of engaging articles and activities, all geared towards making reading the local newspaper a family affair. It also features a September newspaper activities calendar, the annual cover contest for students, and nine camera-ready “activity ads” that can run anytime to further promote reading the newspaper.

The 2005 Lit Tab is written once again by the National Center for Family Literacy and the cost is FREE! It comes in Quark and PDF files on a CD.
