MONDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 1996
(Two trips to choose from)

Day Trip to The Alpujarra
Enjoy a day trip to the enchanting and secluded valleys of the Sierra Nevada. Almond trees blossom here and some fascinating traces of old Moorish culture still linger. Relatively unknown until just 50 years ago, this region has retained a wealth of local arts, crafts, festivities and cuisine for today's visitors. See the tour reservation form for details. Package includes transportation, lunch and tour guide.

See Córdoba For A Day
Adventure for a day and wander through the courtyards and squares of this historic Spanish town on the banks of the Guadalquivir River. Córdoba was a major city in Roman times, but it was Islam that bequeathed the city with its amazing mosque, the largest in the world after the Kaaba. The mosque became a cathedral in 1236. Córdoba is home to many famous monuments and churches, including the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos (Palace of the Christian Kings), the Calahorra fortress and San Nicolás church.
