Brunch Cruise and Hoover Dam

It's all aboard for a special two-hour boat cruise on the Mississippi-style paddlewheeler, Desert Princess, on beautiful Lake Mead, America's largest man-made lake. Enjoy a hearty breakfast on the climate- controlled indoor decks, and venture out on the open deck for panoramic viewing of the lake and the shoreline. After the cruise, it's on to the Hoover Dam where you will have ample time to visit the new multimillion-dollar Visitor Center, take the interior tour of the dam and view the new movie.


Colorado River Raft

Take an exciting float trip through one of the Colorado River's most beautiful canyons. From the base of the mighty Hoover Dam, your raft will take you 11 miles through the placid majestic Black Canyon, a canyon free of rapids and full of history. Enjoy a picnic box lunch on the Colorado River shoreline. As you float past the Willow Beach Trout Hatchery, the historical canyon opens up and your raft docks at Willow Beach. Dress casual and wear walking shoes.


Grand Canyon West Rim Motorcoach

On this excursion, you will see the magnificence of Lake Mead, travel over the crest of Hoover Dam, experience the beauty of Black Canyon and drive through miles of nature's Joshua Tree Forest. Upon arrival at the Hualapai Reservation, you will be met by your native American guide for an escorted historical tour along the high mesa. Several photo stops will be made on the Grand Canyon West Rim for you to capture memories of this day. You will enjoy an Indian barbecue lunch at Guano Peak, the most spectacular lookout point, 3,500 feet above the winding Colorado River. Wear comfortable walking shoes, dress casually and bring plenty of film.


Unique Stuff Tour

Las Vegas, the fastest-growing city in the country, owes much of its growth to the additions and expansions of the resort hotels. This special tour will drive by all the mega structures on the Strip and give you an insight of their enormity, popularity and uniqueness. An excursion to Ethel M. Chocolate Factory, Botanical Gardens and Ocean Spray West will highlight some of the "clean" industry that Las Vegas attracts. Your next stop is the Forum at Caesars Palace where a special luncheon awaits you at Planet Hollywood. After lunch you will have time to browse, shop or visit the many specialty stores. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.


Valley of Fire & Desert Tour

The beautiful desert of Southern Nevada has mystery, intrigue and a remarkable untold story of the West. Go back in time over 20,000 years, and you will experience the beauty of the Valley of Fire and view memories of our Western ancestors displayed in t the Lost City Museum. The unusual rock formations, serenity and expanse of the area have been used as backdrops for many films. You will also travel through the lush garden areas of Moapa Valley which will include a drive by Wayne Newton's Ranch, a breeding farm for champion Arabian horses. Enjoy the beauty of Echo Bay Resort and Marina on the shore of Lake Mead where you will have time for lunch and a walk along the lake. Dress casual and wear walking shoes.


Tour Ticket Order Form

The deadline for purchasing tour tickets is Friday, May 31, 1996. Your ticket(s) will not be mailed to you but will be held for pickup at the Tour Desk in the registration area of the Las Vegas Convention Center. A confirmation of your order will be mailed to you. Advance registration is advised. Do not mail reservations after May 31. If a tour should cancel because of low attendance, Gray Line will notify the registrants by June 10, 1996, and offer a credit for another tour or a full refund. Reservations will be accepted on-site on a space available basis. All tours will depart from and return to the Las Vegas Convention Center Front Entrance Bus Plaza.
