Shaun Dail was named national sales and implementation manager at MediaNews Group Inc.’s Media News Technologies subsidiary. Dail was online-information coordinator at the Kenosha (Wis.) News.

Paul J. Dubsky was named business-analysis director of Cox Interactive Media in Atlanta. Steven D. Rosenboro was named CIM vice president and general counsel.

Colette Hogan was named to the newly created position of president of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s postnet.com.

Wesley A. Jackson was named vice president of sales for Belo Interactive in Dallas. He previously served in Internet-management roles for the E.W. Scripps Co. and Knight Ridder.

Timothy Landon, formerly vice president of business development for Tribune Interactive, was named president of Tribune Classified Services in Chicago.

David Moran was named vice president and general manager of electronic publishing by Dow Jones & Co. of New York City. Dorothea Coccoli Palsho was named vice president of electronic publishing for strategy and marketing.

Marty Petty, formerly publisher of the Hartford Courant, was named executive vice president of the St. Petersburg Times. Petty will oversee the newspaper’s Internet operations, human resources, production, finance and technology.

Stephen W. Sullivan, formerly president and publisher of the Corpus Christi (Texas) Caller Times, was named vice president of operations of the E.W. Scripps Co.’s newspaper division. He succeeds Jeff Hively, now executive vice president and chief operating officer of the newly formed Denver Newspaper Agency.

John VanStrydonck, publisher of the Rapid City (S.D.) Journal, was named vice president of production for Lee Enterprises Inc. of Davenport, Iowa, and vice president of Lee’s Pacific Northwest publishing group.

Monica Wright was named marketing manager of Blethen Maine Newspapers’ MaineToday.com.

Vendors

Michael J. Debish, formerly a Tribune Co. senior project manager, was named the vice president of Chicago-based McClier’s newspaper and broadcast group. Alan F. Stromberg rejoins McClier as the newspaper and broadcast group’s vice president and principal consultant.

Alphonse DePalma was named director of the newly formed application-service provider business unit of Atex Media Solutions of Bedford, Mass.

Kevin J. Kuliga was named president of Madison Paper Co., a recycled-newsprint mill in Alsip, Ill.

Jay Small, formerly new-media editor at The Indianapolis Star, was named Thomson Consumer Electronics’ digital-media services manager for eBook development.

Bill Solimeno was named president and CEO of net-linx Publishing Solutions. Dick Steensma was named president of net-linx’s CText Inc. subsidiary in Ann Arbor, Mich. Larry Moore remains as CText’s CEO. Dennis Doolittle, formerly president of AII, was named president of net-linx’s System Integrators Inc. subsidiary. Mike Lee remains Sacramento-based SII’s chief operating officer.

Tom Brown, publisher of the Concord (N.H.) Monitor, was re-elected chairman of the PAGE Co-Op board of directors. G. Charles Dix II, vice president of Dix Communications and publisher of the Alliance (Ohio) Review, was named vice president. William Brehm Jr., president of Brehm Communications of San Diego, is treasurer; and David Lucey, publisher of The Westerly (R.I.) Sun, is secretary. Newly elected directors include David Lord, president of Pioneer Newspapers Inc. of Seattle, and Miriam Potter, vice president of Morris Newspaper Corp. of Savannah.
