Purcell takes over the leadership role for Town Online following The Boston Herald Inc.s acquisition of Community Newspaper Co. As executive vice president of Herald Interactive Advertising Systems, she is also responsible for BostonHerald.com, carfind.com, homefind.com and jobfind.com. VendorsKathie Chadaz was named customer-service manager at Digital Technology International of Springville, Utah. Fred Davenport was named new project manager.
