On page 6 of our September/ October issue, TechNews ran a graphic titled "Those Lean Canadians" that accompanied our cover story on web-width reduction. Part of the text read, "Two Canadian newspapers, The Toronto Star and The Leader Post (Regina, Saskatchewan) have chosen to disregard the SAUs."
The statement is misleading because SAUs were accepted as a standard only in the United States. Because SAUs were never in place in Canada, the two Canadian papers did not actively disregard them.
TechNews regrets the implication.
