As NAA aligns its priorities with those identified by its Visioning Project, it will outsource its newsprint and news-ink testing services. Two organizations will assume these programs:
NAA members or associate members that require testing services should contact RIT. Normal turnaround time for test results will be 10 working days. RIT will also provide next-day turnaround for a 50 percent premium or five-day turnaround for a 25 percent premium.
The NAA-COLOR ink-certification program will also be maintained through RIT.
