Over the past few months I've been more of an editpreneur than an editor, donning my promotional hat as TechNews launches its first annual Best Practices Awards.
I gave minicommercials for the awards at NAA's Technical Committee meeting in January and at its SuperConference in March. I also sent nomination forms to operations directors across the country by broadcast fax, and we've been running the form in the magazine.
Hopefully, one of our communiqués has reached you by now, and you're familiar with the awards. If not, here are the basics:
I'd like to stress this last bullet. Assuming you receive this issue during the first week of April, you now have less than two weeks to enter. If you haven't already done so, please take a moment to fill out the nomination form and send it in.
