NAA's 1997 Newspaper Operations SuperConference will be held January 12-17 inside the Hilton at Walt Disney World Village in Orlando, Fla. The conference will include segments in four key areas of newspaper operations: Pre-press, Health & Safety, Press & Materials and Post-press.
The Health & Safety segment is new this year and replaces the Health & Safety Conference, which had been held separately. Folding this event into the SuperConference gives health-and-safety officers, many of whom "wear other hats," the opportunity to attend other sessions of interest. It also simplifies the planning process, since these managers can now budget for only one conference annually.
The first SuperConference, held in Miami Beach last March, attracted over 400 publishers and operations executives. Attendees received the latest news and information on the entire range of modern newspaper operations, from digital advertising to microzoning.
Attendees at the upcoming conference can sign up for a full week of sessions or attend only the segment(s) of their choice. So mark your calendars for Orlando in January and prepare for a week of super learning!
