NEXPO'97: New Features in New Orleans

    NEXPO'97, the destination of choice for decision makers at newspapers acrossthe country, will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in NewOrleans, June 21-24. This year's exposition will include three new features:

    • New-media pavilions on the exhibit floor.
    • The Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Media Lab will present aninformation-packed session on the future of news, with sessions on "AnInkless Newspaper," "Your Personal Classified Agent" and "APerfectly Tailored Newspaper."
    • Two bonus three-hour workshops Friday, June 20, for prepaid attendees. Theworkshops will focus on telecommunications and new-media technology.

    Attendees can tour over 200,000 square feet of exhibit space and visit morethan 300 companies displaying products and services ranging from audiotex,Internet services, computer hardware and software to pre-press systems, pressesand post-press equipment.
