Jim Johnson has been named the Omaha World-Herald Co.'s security administrator. He had previously served as information-systems manager for the World-Herald's information-technology group. Craig S. John Roe has been named vice president of information technology with A.H. Belo of Dallas. Roe most recently served as director of information technology. Elizabeth A. Sholar was named vice president of technology and production for The Globe & Mail, Toronto. She had been the publishing-systems director for Globe & Mail parent Thomson Newspapers Inc. Tim Stone has joined The Stuart (Fla.) News & Press Journal, as circulation director. He was circulation director of the Statesman Journal in Salem, Ore. Miles Groves has been appointed senior vice president and chief economist for The Barry Group in Bethesda, Md. Groves was vice present of market and business analysis and chief economist for NAA. Theodore R. Joseph has been appointed chief executive officer of Response Networks Inc., Alexandria, Va. Frank G. Loversky was named president of Saxotech Inc., the Danish firm's North American subsidiary in Bethesda, Md.
