NEXPO'99 Soars
As the clock
counts down to the last NEXPO® of the century, more than 215,000
square feet of exhibit space has been booked for this year's technical
exposition, to be held June 14-17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Representing 373 exhibitors, that's an increase of 8.6 percent over
last year's show in Orlando.
"The steady and dramatic increases we've seen over the years in
exhibitors who want to be a part of NEXPO is a testament to the
importance of this event," says Eric Wolferman, NAA senior vice
president for technology. "Exhibitors want to be at the show where the
serious buyers are, and that's NEXPO." (See TechNews, March/April
1999, p. 35, for a profile of show-goers.)
In a one-time change from NEXPO's traditional Saturday-to-Tuesday
schedule, the program features a Monday keynote address by Charles M.
Geschke, president, co-chairman and co-founder of Adobe Systems Inc.
Also on the schedule are sessions on new-media advertising,
demystifying networks, 50-inch web widths, solutions for packaging and
distribution, and new ways to use pagination.
For information and show updates, visit NEXPO's Internet site at
www.nexpo.com.
